As a Software Engineer II on the Employee Lifecycle (ELC) team at Netchex, I played a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the on and off boarding features of the Netchex application. Here's an overview of my achievements and responsibilities:

Achievements:

  • Led a successful migration project, transitioning a .NET Framework monolith to a scalable .NET 7 Microservice. Ensured performance and scalability with comprehensive unit and integration tests, increasing test coverage from 10% to 90%.

  • Designed and implemented an automated onboarding task that streamlined the collection and import of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) information, simplifying processes for HR admins and reducing their workload.

  • Developed a global payroll setting, enabling companies to enforce pre-noting for direct deposit accounts efficiently. Secured a significant client worth $500,000 per year.

  • Elevated team efficiency by improving domain responsibilities mapping and documentation, ensuring clarity and alignment.

  • Spearheaded the containerization of microservices and UI projects using Docker, enhancing local development workflows and facilitating seamless deployment.

This Discord bot was created to manage the ULL Computer Science/Informatics Discord server.

  • Complete Student Sync between Discord Moodle (Students only have access to channels corresponding to the classes they've been in)
  • Full SQL Database to keep track of all student information
  • Has its own UI to manage the settings of the Bot
